Vonage

We've all seen/heard the commercials "woo hoo, woo hoo hoo" annoyingly in the background. But this is one brand that delivers on its promise: "a better phone service for less." Vonage, a Voice-Over-IP telephone company, provides telephone services over the internet. So, for a flat monthly rate, you get either a set amount, or unlimited minutes, and your phone plugs into a provided modem rather than a phone jack. At a rate much cheaper than most local plans that DON'T include long distance, Vonage's minutes are local or long-distance; even international. Here are a few great boasts about Vonage. 1. Take your number anywhere. If you have your modem with you, your number goes where you do, be it a different state or a different country. All you need is Internet. 2. "Simul-ring." This feature enables your Vonage account to ring another phone (or 5) if you think you may miss your call in the office. Whichever phone picks up first answers the call. 3. Great voicemail options. An array of voicemail options are included. The standards which include time-sensitive messages, and caller-based voicemail, but also automatic web voicemail enables you to check your messages just by logging onto your account--no phone needed. Vonage is an outstanding company you will not be disappointed with.
